About The Flash Conversion

This Flash file conversion utility is provided by Landmark Wiring Systems. The results that you get may vary depending on your internet connection speed and the type or quality of the file that you upload.

Landmark Wiring Systems keeps a log file of all usage of this utility. The log file (Sample Log File) stores the file names that you upload, the Session ID of your browser and the date and time of usage. All uploaded content and the converted files are deleted after the utility is run. Completed files are available as a zip file download when converted, if you don't download them before closing the web page you will not be able to access them again. See the Terms  page for the "Conditions of Use" for this utilty.

The following file types may be uploaded for conversion:

  • Spreadsheet Formats: xlsx, xls, ods, sdc, et
  • Presentation Formats: pptx, ppt, odp, potx, pot, pps, sda, sdd, dps
  • Image Formats: bmp, gif, png, jpg, jpeg, tiff, psd
  • Native Formats: pdf

Note: Use a blank page layout in PowerPoint to avoid extra tag text in your Flash file. The "Click To edit Master subtitle style" text in the following picture is an example of extra tag text.

The maximum file size for this utility is 10mb.

To upload a document select the "Add Files". After you have selected your files click on "Start Upload" to finish the upload process.

You may choose to have a multi-page document converted into a one Flash file for the whole document or as a single Flash file for each page. For usage in the Digital Signage application we recommend that you convert each page into a single Flash file. This is the default setting on the SWF Conversion Utlity  page.

You can choose to have your files converted into a Flash file only or into a Flash file and a PDF file. If you selected the include PDF then they will be included in your download.

After uploading your documents select the Convert Files to have them converted into Flash files.

If you have any comments or questions please use the Contact  form. The contact form will automatically log the Session ID and date so that we trace the log file.
