Getting A File Ready For Use

You can either upload a picture file or a SWF Flash file.

To save your PowerPoint presentation as picture:

1. Go to File|Save and change the type to JPEG or PNG.

2. Select "All Slides" or just the "Current Slide".

3. If you are using the "Dual Screen" then a standard size presentation will fill the screen.

4. If you are using the "Tri Screen" layout then set your presentation page size to 10.2" wide and 5.391" high

Note: Displaying a picture file on a large screen may create some distortion.

To save your PowerPoint presentation as a Flash file:

1. Go to the File Conversion Page to convert your presentation.

2. When you have downloaded your Flash files they are ready for use.

Note: The Flash file will scale to the large screen size without distortion.

Note: Some PowerPoint screen transitions will convey to the Flash file.

Adding A Slide

1. Open the Signage Manager and click on the "Campaign|Timelines" tab to view the current Campaigns and available Resources.

2. In the Resource section click on the button to add a file.

3. Select from local.

4. Browse to the file that you want to add. Remember to change the file type if you are uploading an SWF Flash file.

5. Go to "File|Save/Upload" to save the file to the remote server. Your file is now ready to add to a Campaign.

6. Select the Campaign that you want to add the slide to and adjust the Campain duration time.

7. If the Campaigns current duration is 2 minutes 20 seconds increase it by 20 seconds so that the total duration is 2 minutes 40 seconds.

8. Under the Resource section find the slide that you want to add and use your mose to drag it into the Campaign.

9. Adjust the slide time to 20 seconds using your mouse or the time tab.

A slide can be set to play for any duration that you want.

10. Click on the Campaign and then the Remove Space icon to eliminate any gaps between the slides. If you leave a gap between slides the a white screen will show on the monitor.

11. Go to "File|Save/Upload" to save your changes.

12. Check yes to restart the screen with your changes.

Deleting A Slide

1. Go to the Campaign Timeline that has the slide you want to delete.

2. Right click on the slide you want to delete.

3. Click on Delete.

4. Confirm that you want to delete the slide.

5. Adjust the Campaign Timeline to eliminate the blank space. This picture shows a 40 second Timeline with only 30 seconds of slides.

7. Go to "File|Save/Upload" to save your changes.

8. Check yes to restart the screen with your changes.
